JOHN LEWIS ARTHUR GAGLIARDI – M. PUB. ADMIN, B. A., DIP JOURN., DIP PUB. ADMIN (UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND), F. A. I. M., F. C. H. C., M. P. R. I. (AUST). John Gagliardi currently holds the position of Media and Communications Manager for Christian Outreach Centre Australia in Brisbane, a major Christian organization comprising 700 local churches, four State-accredited schools and a private State-accredited university. He is also a consultant to and Board Director of Earth to Air LLC in Nashville TN, and operates his own marketing and consulting company, John Gagliardi Pty Ltd, in Brisbane Australia. John holds the following academic qualifications from the University of Queensland, Australia: Master of Public Administration (1974) Bachelor of Arts (1968) Diploma for Journalism (1967) Diploma in Public Administration (1970).  (John won the University of Queensland Journalism Prize and was runner up for the University Public Administration Prize). He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow of Christian Heritage College, a Member of the Graduate Management Association of Australia and a Member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia. John was founding Chairman of Christian Heritage College (a State-accredited tertiary institution in Brisbane, Australia) and founding President of the Australian Christian Lobby, Canberra. In Singapore, he founded Business Breakthrough, a 2000-strong Business/Marketplace ministry within Singapore’s largest church, City Harvest Church, and served on the Committee of Singapore’s premier business club, the Tower Club. He is a member of the Operations Boards of Vietnam Outreach and disaster relief agency Global Care. He lectured in management, political science, government, public administration and public relations at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, and the College of Technical and Further Education, Townsville. He also taught Russian language at the University of Queensland’s Institute of Modern Languages (he is a fluent Russian speaker). During his career in public relations/lobbying, he has consulted to numerous Federal, State and local government departments and authorities, all three major Australian political parties, several tertiary educational institutions, a number of charitable and philanthropic groups, and a wide range of major national and international corporations in areas including mining, aviation, property and construction, food, retail, fashion, science and technology, media, finance, tourism and motor sport. He has been widely involved in philanthropic work, having helped finance school, hospital and orphanage projects in Australia, Tanzania, Uganda, Bolivia, the Solomon Islands, Papua-New Guinea and Vietnam. John is married with four adult children. He is a citizen of Australia and currently residing in Brisbane, Queensland, DOB 14/12/1942. * Career highlights: Bionax Holdings Pte Ltd, Singapore – As Marketing Director, drove products like Imedeen, Cellasene and Zinaxin to be market leaders in Australia, NZ, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and the Philippines. Started the company in Australia as Biotec Sweden Pty Ltd, and then moved the HQ to Singapore as Bionax Holdings. From start-up to $100 pa turnover in just over two years – offered $250m for company by local Rothschild office. Sold company to then Novo Nordisk subsidiary Ferrosan AB (now part of the Pfizer Group) Earth to Air Systems Pty Ltd, Australia – start up new technology company in geothermal heating and cooling under licence from Earth to Air LLC in the US (of which John is both a shareholder and director). Successfully installed wide range of systems for clients such as BP, State Education Depts, Police Stations and the Department of Defence. With $20M in forward projects company hit by GFC and acute finance shortage; Australian licence transferred by US parent ETA LLC to QPGeothermal Pty Ltd which has major projects underway with Australand (a subsidiary of CapitaLand) and Rio Tinto. Currently developing ETA into PNG and Asia Pacific with $30M capitalization.
